2020 became the year I took a leap of faith.

SEEN THE STORIES began as a list of people in the summer of 2020 and has grown into an idea that connects me to individuals from so many walks of life. Magic that I believe lies in being seen, now unfolds in each story I experience, document and then share.

This idea initially helped place a pin in a moment which will forever hold such loss, meaning and change. Through a need to see life anew, Seen the Stories became my way of doing so, and it reminded me of a gift I had been given. I now had an opportunity to discover if I could see more, far beyond myself. I wanted to hear stories, sit opposite the storyteller and witness the inner makings of their lives.

Camera in hand, Seen the Stories has given life to this moment. As my desire to share this magic continues to grow, stories of friends and family, has become an exchange with strangers from across London and slowly, far beyond. The gift I had been granted is being shared and along the way my dear father’s unwavering will to see my existence, multiplies.
