In collaboration with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Plashet School, this year’s IWD featured spoken word performances on the theme of Being Seen.
Five Plashet School alumni, mentored by BCLP volunteers developed talks responding to this concept, sharing their thoughts and experiences.
BCLP’s Governors House also became the backdrop for the first century of portraits and stories from the project, I Am Seen.
The five talks were accompanied by words from Rebecca Campbell, BCLP Partner and Rachel McGowan, Plashet School Head Teacher.
I wish to thank Alison Klarfeld and Emmi Makiharju at BCLP for their continued support of my ideas and aspirations for this work.
I also wish to thank Rachel McGowan, together with Fabienne and Emmanuelle at Bouygues UK and Equans, for becoming part of the development team as we plan for the second phase of I Am Seen.
The support, participation and advocacy of I Am Seen continues to develop - this year’s International Women’s Day highlights the need for championing the stories of women.
Rebecca Campbell, Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a long standing supporter of Seen the Stories and I Am Seen.
The plans are set through partnerships with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Plashet School, Bouygues UK and Equans.
Sharing plans for turning this project into a campaign; championing the brilliance, potential and stories of girls and young women.
